It is the first time that IIT Kharagpur is organizing the 2nd edition of INAE Youth Conclave during 23rd-25th March 2018. The conclave endeavors to engage engineering students of various colleges all over India in designing economical solutions to the challenging problems of today`s generation.
The competition is segmented into two phases. First one is a pre-conclave that would require students to prepare a complete report on the problem statement chosen by them. It has to be a detailed case study with a well-developed strategy to solve the problem. The competition focuses on:
- improvements in Indian agriculture through suitable fertilizer selection for specific types of soil.
- Reorganisation of Indian academic program to make it more job oriented yielding employable engineers.
- Providing healthcare facilities to everyone
- Effective waste management and role of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
- Good storage of agricultural produce to benefit farmers.
- Effective town planning with proportionate amount of open spaces and buildings.
Next phase is the final round. Shortlisted participants would be given a 4 months duration to incorporate improvements to their solution model. The finals would be organized in the mid of August.
